This free calculator names that chapter from annual profections, Firdaria, and Zodiacal Releasing, then lists only the transits that actually touch those activations.

Time-lords first, transits second
Vettius Valens profects the Ascendant one whole-sign house per year of life. The domicile ruler of that sign is Lord of the Year; its natal condition (sect, dignity, house) describes how the year’s topics tend to arrive. Firdaria, as configured from al-Qabisi and al-Biruni, then names a longer planetary period that starts with the Sun in a day chart and the Moon in a night chart. Zodiacal Releasing from the Lot of Spirit (Valens) names a unique chapter when the birth time exists.
Transits of Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn are printed only when they aspect those activated planets, occupy the profected sign, or contact natal planets already in that place. A list of every transit this week is refused on purpose: that is a modern horoscope job, not a traditional chapter.

What is a current chapter in traditional astrology?
The present stretch of life is read from time-lords: the profected house and Lord of the Year, the Firdaria major and minor, and — with a birth time — the Zodiacal Releasing chapter from Spirit. Transits trigger those clocks; they do not replace them.
Do I need a birth time?
Yes for Lord of the Year, Firdaria (sect), Zodiacal Releasing, and filtered transits. Without a time you still get the house number from age and the planetary day. Noon is not treated as a day chart.
Is this a daily horoscope?
No. It is a natal timing briefing in the Valens / al-Qabisi / Lilly line already used by this engine.
